Kemwave was founded by Daniel Eliasson and Joakim Eliasson in 2022. We are located in Gothenburg Sweden.

Our vision

We want to create a synthesizer that can continue to inspire you throughout time, in order of doing so we’ve outlined some core principles we intend to guide our development.

Rooted within history down to the component level. We believe that building upon vintage electronics in our design is important in order to legitimize it as a comparable product to historic synthesizers.

Designed with longevity in mind. Using mostly common jellybean components ensure your synth can surpass the test of time and even if it breaks, you’ll be able to repair it long after it has ceased production.

Capable of producing a vast range of good sounds. All analog synths have a place in our heart but the seemingly small differences between competing products and the unexploited capabilities of retro digital have turned our attention towards wavetables and hybrid synths.

Built with intuitive interface and easy to learn synthesis. Programming have always been the hurdle for complex synths, we want to change that. Expect a lot of knobs, buttons, SYSEX compatibility and some new undisclosed features.
